I ordered the Pesto Crema e Funghi ($26) and added Pork Agrodolce (+$5) and Italian Sausage (+$5), but honestly, I could barely notice either of the add-ons in the dish. I asked the server to double-check, and they confirmed both were included — maybe they were mixed in as tiny bits, but the presence was so minimal it felt like they weren’t there at all. That said, the atmosphere is probably the best in the neighborhood — bright space, great vibe, and genuinely friendly service. The only downside is that the menu is very carb-heavy with limited options outside of that.

The service was excellent. There was only one server and one chef but the two were very efficient. We really enjoyed the Napoli style pizza, and the fresh pasta had an interesting fusion sauce with a mixture of miso and carbonara. The guanciale in the carbonara sauce was rich and and full of flavour. The pasta was perfectly al dente and picked up the sauce nicely.

Such a charming neighbourhood Italian restaurant with many gluten-free and vegetarian options, thankfully. It was the best pizza I’ve had in Vancouver, the cocktails were refreshing, the server was friendly, funny and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Had a nice little date there and would recommend. It’s nice to be able to sit outside, too. The prices are also fair.

This local pizza location in UBC Westbrook Mall invites the pizza and Italian food scene customer for a fine tasting menu..we chose the Salimi & Fungi pizza and the Bolognese pasta…there was a warm welcome and we appreciated the many items on the menu…there was plenty of parking in the area..

One of the best pizza places we’ve tried. Pizza il Bastardo was perfection. Espresso was a great finish to the meal. Service from Kate was excellent. Wish we lived closer as we would come all the time.

Food is great, haven't had something I dislike, except that blueberry sparking drink: maybe it was made wrong when I ordered it, but this was the worst drink I've ever had in my life. Service needs some work. All in all a solid option for Wesbrook.

Went here for the first time today and will definitely be returning! The gelato was light and tasty and there was an impressive range of options. The pizza was incredible, especially the crust, and it came to our table very quickly after we ordered. Our server, Lucas, was attentive and friendly and made this a great first experience for me at this restaurant! Cannot wait to come back soon.
